okay, i'm halfway into my second month on oratane and i STILL keep getting fresh, new, irritating, painful bumps!
my face is painful to touch and painful to look at... i just want to start living life already, and be able to have a social life already :(
so now i'm really scared... what if it doesn't work?!?!
because it's the strongest and most effective medication for acne right now, and if it doesn't work, then does that mean nothing will?
i sure hope it will work.
even if the doctor puts me on the strongest dose possible and i have to put up with worse side effects, please just make it go away!
Hi, I started on 10mg or oratane 6 months ago and my dr told me in 3 months my skin would be great. It then flared up and I got pimples like iId never had and for the next 4 months it got worse with no sign of letting up. My dose went to 20 and the dr said be patient. then went to 30 and am now on 40 and finally things are improving.. My advice is hang in there because it really will get better but talk to your doctor because I really regret waiting as long as I did to up my dose and can't help but think I could have saved myself a lot of scars if I'd done it sooner..
